I can feel spring on its way, and when you think about spring, what is the first thought? Flowers. Blooming flowers, especially beautiful magnolia trees which are my favourite. I love a combination of balloons and flowers at any event — and at House of Events it’s something we build into almost every balloon installation we design.

Flower arrangements are my must-have on every event. They create the whole look of the event — especially when we use many different colours that perfectly blend into a beautiful composition. But what about combining those florals with balloons? Incorporating flowers into your balloon installations is a must-have this spring/summer season — particularly for wedding ceremonies and receptions where the florals carry the colour story.

We always choose complementing tones and textures of flowers to create an ombre, tonal, or palette of colours — choosing balloons that bring out the florals rather than overpower them. Always be aware of the flower texture, and make sure there are no thorns, especially if you plan to mix roses with balloons.

I love to use greenery to add an organic look to the decorations, and they are great to fill any small gaps between balloons.

Small balloons will look best paired with delicate flowers, while jumbo balloons can carry large flowers for that defined look. We can always do a personalised colour scheme — we cater to your preferred colour palette for a cohesive look.

Floral and balloon arrangements and walls are perfect as a stunning visual centrepiece for memorable photographs. Browse all of our event styling services to see how we build floral and balloon installations into weddings, baby showers, birthdays and corporate events across West London.
